Q – How did you end up at BCBGeneration? Take us through your journey.
A – I grew up in New Jersey and went to LIM College in New York City. I always knew that I wanted to work in Public Relations. Throughout college, I tried to gain as much experience as I could in the field through internships. My last internship took me out to Los Angeles where I got the chance to hobnob with the industry’s coolest people; one of them was Creative Director Joyce Azria. This led to me interviewing for the Entertainment Relations Assistant position and as you can see, I’ve never looked back.
Q – What does an Entertainment Relations Assistant do?
A – I dress the celebrities! How cool is that?! ER is a part of Public Relations as well, so I also work on pitching stories to press once I get those celebs into BCBGeneration.
Q – What’s your typical day like?
A – Every day is completely different. It can include helping a celebrity stylist with pulls, doing fittings with celebs, managing talent for photoshoots, and prepping for an event.
Q – Tell us about your personal style.
A – Edgy with a touch of tomboy. I wear a lot of neutral colors like black, grey, white, and tan — but honestly, about 70% of my closet is black.
Q – Whose closet would you raid if you could?
A – Kendall Jenner’s! I’m obsessed with her street style and her red carpet looks. We work with her stylist and it’s fascinating to hear what she likes and doesn’t.
Q – What song do you have on repeat?
A – I have a whole album. Justin Bieber’s Purpose is currently on rotation in the office.
Q – Best part about your job?
A – Working with such an amazing team! Everyone is so great and really makes my job worthwhile. Also, working one on one with these celebrities. It’s great to see how down to earth and fun they are!
