DIY: Floral Arrangement

We hope you enjoyed those bouquets from our summer launch events. Who doesn’t love bringing a little outside freshness inside? So go ahead, keep indulging yourself. We’ll give you a few pointers on how you can create your own bouquet arrangement.

1 – You’ll want a nice mix of full blooms (larger flowers like roses or orchids.) and “fillers” (carnations, baby’s breath, freesia, etc.). If you want to keep things simple, you can go with one color scheme.

2 – Remove leaves and trim all your stems. Cut your stems at a diagonal angle. Make sure you have a variety of lengths. This will serve to create beautiful dimension.

3 – Place longer length stems in the back. Shorter ones in the front. Fill the space between and around with fillers. Use your best judgment and trust your eye.

4 – Now wrap it up! We suggest kraft paper, twine, or a cool ribbon.
