Crop That Top

Crop tops, formerly synonymous with the nineties, have returned and it seems like they’re here to stay. A well-ingrained staple of spring and summer, they’ve been seen gracing the streets and the crowds of music festivals. Afraid they might be a bit too baring? Not to worry, we’ve got you covered.

1 – Pair them with high-waisted bottoms. Because a crop top is so short, a higher waistline allows you to bare a little while still leaving a lot to imagination.

2 – Pair with this season’s hottest trend: the midi. The crop top is a perfect way to balance out the midi. The latter with its longer length requires something that’s shorter and a little more feisty.

3 – Pair with looser clothing. Crop tops tend to run rather tight. They’re form fitting and midriff baring. Balance that out with something that is looser and has more flow–like a maxi skirt, harem pants, or wide-legged pants.

Keep these three tips in mind and you’ll be well on your way to rocking this chic trend. Need more style inspiration? Check out our Street Chic board.
